WHAT TO DO BEFORE BOOKING MY TATTOO?

Schedule a free consultation:

This is the best opportunity to get advice directly from the artist about your new tattoo and also visit our studio to see firsthand that we follow all biosecurity standards and work with quality products. Once the design is established, the artist will provide information on the price and availability.

CONDITIONS AND CANCELLATIONS OF THE APPOINTMENT:

Conditions to book the appointment:

To book a tattoo service, an advance payment of part of the tattoo cost will be required. From this payment, the artist will begin working on your personalized design.

Cancellation of appointment by the client:

In case of cancellation or change of date by the client, we will need to be notified at least 72 hours in advance to retain the deposit. This is because it may mean that the artist would not work that day, after rejecting other clients since the date was already occupied. Failure to comply with this rule will result in the loss of the deposit if, after evaluating the situation, we consider it resulted in losses. This amount will not be refunded under any circumstances but can be reused for any of our products or services by the person who made the booking or by someone else within one year from the cancellation date.

Cancellation of appointment by the artist:

If the artist is forced to cancel the appointment due to reasons beyond Comet Tattoo Studio's control, the studio will find and propose the best alternative to carry out the tattoo. If no agreement is reached, the client may cancel or reschedule the appointment. The deposit will not be refunded under any circumstances. It can be reused for any of our products or services by the person who made the booking or by someone else within one year from the cancellation date.

Cancellation of appointment for tattoo workshop and courses:

If the student needs to change the date, we need to be notified at least one (1) week in advance (7 days). The studio will try to reschedule for the next workshop or course of the student's preference, if available. The reservation fee will not be refunded under any circumstances. It can be used for any of our products or services by the holder of the reservation or another person within one year from the cancellation date.

If the one (1) week notice is not met, the studio will do its best to reschedule the reservation for future dates, but we cannot guarantee availability. If the reservation belongs to a courtesy workshop or workshops acquired with the purchase of the course, the studio does not guarantee rescheduling for future dates.

OBLIGATIONS OF THE CLIENT

  1. Inform the artist if you have any serious illness(es) during the first conversation. Only then will it be decided if the tattoo can be done.
  2. You must be over 18 years old to get a tattoo. In exceptional cases, we may also perform the tattoo with a written consent form from the parents if the person is underage.
  3. Be punctual for your appointment. Notify if you will be a few minutes late; otherwise, the artist reserves the right not to proceed with the appointment.

WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?

  1. We recommend you sleep well before your tattoo session, eat, and hydrate sufficiently (without alcohol or caffeine).
  2. Wear comfortable clothing on the day of the appointment.
  3. Avoid sun exposure.
  4. For safety reasons, please do not bring children to the studio under any circumstances.

CARE INTRUCTIONS

  1. Touch your tattoo only with clean hands and always protect it from dirt.
  2. Leave the protector on for about five (5) hours after your tattoo session. If your appointment ends late in the evening, you can leave the protector on overnight.
  3. When you remove the protector, wash the tattoo with warm water, use a fragrance-free and pH-neutral soap. Then, gently dry it and apply a thin layer of healing cream (e.g., Bepanthen®).
  4. Wear loose clothing if possible.
  5. Apply cream to your tattoo daily 2 - 4 times for three (3) weeks.
  6. You must protect your tattoo from direct sunlight during the first 8 weeks. Afterward, we recommend always using sunscreen.
  7. Avoid visiting the beach, sauna, and pool during the tattoo healing process.
  8. During the healing phase, your tattoo may itch: we do not recommend scratching it!
  9. Proper care and treatment are the most important for a newly done tattoo, as poor care may lead to improper healing, compromising its quality.

The studio is not responsible for the final result of the tattoo if the user does not follow the provided recommendations.
